| Thank the heavens I think I'm progressing. Went to see sigur ros last night and it was amazing and inspiring. For the past 2 weeks I've been bringing the korg to work everyday and playing. I've programmed 2 really nice sounds into it and written several tunes. One of witch I'm going to record onto analog tape from a real piano tonight. One thing I've noticed about the little bits of music I've actually recorded (solo and with ash) is the prescence of emotion. That's good, I can't stand a dry song.

I'm glad there is with me so far.
I listened to the bits of a song I started months ago "farewell song to the fading day" (wt) and I'm full of ideas on how to finish it.
Its a lulubye really.
I hope my hands can play what my brain hears...
Ash ordered me a little bell set today, awesome. I started out playing xylaphone as a kid, funny how I'm comming back to bells and music-box sounding things.
Its relaxing.
I need to do field recordings and re-arrange my -studio-
So leave me alone when I get home, you got that ps2?
Vinyl, I'll install my new plug-ins as well. I need them.
I think I try to play synths as organicly as possible, if that makes sense. Each sound is its own instrument and I play it like I do a real piano. I love electronics and everyone knows that. I want my electronics to sound real. Alien instruments built from old rotting mars wood ?? Yeah, something like that.
I hope I can maintain this enthusiasm for at least 4 more hours.

| A good couple of days.
I spent the whole weekend, excluding sunday, at kenny n mike n sams apt. It was fun, I allways enjoy myself around those guys. On friday night we all went on a quadrupal date to this thai resturaunt where I ate this hot pepper and it made me cry. The food was great tho. Then we all went for icecream, yum. Spent saturday at the apt too, looking up porno-esqe nes games with sam and playing videogames and watching wierd/funny/scary videos on kennys computres. Also cought some of the videogame awards on E! Burnout 3 best racing game of 05, yeah baby! I also got a super deal at best buy: the entire final fantasy unlimited dvd boxset, 25 episodes, 5 dvds in slim cases with the art box for only 30 bux! I watched the first 5 eps allready and I like it a lot, its easy to understand which is actually a little refreshing. Sunday was ashleys birthday and I gave her the mp3 player I bought her and some roses. Her family took us out to P.F. Changs for lunch, it was yummy. After that we just kind of bummed around and watched mind game, ash made herself a cake and it was very tasty. She also got a shweet digicam from her parents and abunch of goofy stuff from her friends at work. Yesterday I just worked as I do every monday. Ash bought the deathcab for cutey tickets for the oct 29th show. That's gonna be awesome. Sometime yesterday I found out that Sigur Ros came all the way from iceland to play a show in atlanta on sept 6. This being one of my favorite bands in the world and no doubt a once in a lifetime chance wanted to get tickets. SOLD OUT! How depressing. I'm watching a few pairs on ebay right now tho. Ash and I were gonna go to the gym yesterday but we ended up falling asleep. Whoops! I ordered kennys bday present last night too, its sweet.

| I got the saw running perfectly so I have a lil time to update.
The past few days I've been really tired, kinda sucks. Oh well. Ash and I went to the gym on monday and when we left it was pouring rain, I had to drive thru like a 3 foot puddle it was pretty fun. That night she treated me to dinner at olive garden, what a sweetie. Anyways, I beat god of war sometime last week, what an awesome game. I been playing a lot of drakengard and burnout 3. Next month is gonna be the coolest: AWA on the 23-25, burnout revenge and we love katamari!! Come out early sept. I scheduled my vacation days for the 22nd thru the 28th so I can deal with the pre con crazieness and the post con sadness  god I'm such a nerd hahaha. Zane came over last night to make some music, overall he recorded a few things and I came up with some cool chord progs on the casiotone. All and all we ended up spending most of our time playing god of war and I played a lot of drakengard. He left around like 12:15 and I went right to bed. Ashleys bday is commin up, sunday, I'm gettin her present tommorow when I get payed and I'm takin her to breakfast downtown. Hopefully we will actually get something done with our costumes this weekend, times a tickin. Oh and ash booked the hotel yesterday, same one we stayed at last year but this time we got one big king size bed hahaha. I know me ash and brent will be staying, probably sam and meosha too and I hope kenny, and sophiea might stay if brent convinces her to. The more the marrier (and cheaper haha) I'm pretty excited tho.
We need to preregister now, the deadline is aug. 25. Ill actually probably do that today. Odds are I won't be lucky enuff to find a three day pass laying in a bush like I did last year.
I think that's about the whole of it. I think.

Genshiken is a great show
This weekend zane and kyle and brent came over and we played videogames till like 1 am.
Fun times, I ended up flailing off the back of kyles trunk in the center lane of bankhead highway, only to make a mad jump into the backseat.
Moral of the story- if ur friends car runs outa gas on a downhill, don't try to ride down on the trunk after u get momentum, that's dangerous.
Me n ash had lots of fun too this weekend.
Ps. Someone remind me to kick my own ass for not making music lately.

Started working 10 hr days for mad overtime cash to pay my debts
Got a speeding ticket 91 in a 55...
Went to the final fantasy concert with the atlanta symphony orchestra and chorus, freakin sweet! They played 1 winged angel twice in a row haha.
I accidentaly flipped off a cop and he got mad at me.
I got sick as hell friday and I'm still recovering.
My sidekick broke but I fixed it.
